This report is based on the fifth article in the Spotlight On quarterly series published by the CERT® Insider Threat Center. Each report focuses on a specific area of concern and presents analysis based on hundreds of actual insider threat cases cataloged in the CERT insider threat database. The focus of this report is on current or former employees, contractors, or business partners who were affiliated with, or are considered to be part of, organized crime.

Het Rotterdamse adviesbureau Intelink doet de komende weken online onderzoek naar Informatielekken in de Rotterdamse Haven. Het onderzoek wordt ondersteund door Deltalinqs, belangenbehartiger van logistieke en industriële bedrijven in het Rotterdamse haven- en industriegebied. Met steun van het ministerie van Economische Zaken, Landbouw en Innovatie is een online research panel ontwikkeld. Deelnemers kunnen zich daar aanmelden als panellid en anoniem aan het onderzoek meedoen.

Recently, Intelink and Tilburg University completed their research into incidents and the causes and consequences of Information Leakage in the Netherlands. Moreover, company policies aimed at preventing the unintentional leakage of company confidential information by employees were investigated as well as their relevance and effectiveness.
